Whistleblower Group Sues To Find Out Why Administration Lowballed BP Oil Spill Estimates

Thursday, September 16, 2010

Not only is this mess going to cost way more than $20 billion to clean up (forget about making people whole), BP has stopped paying.

The costs are already over $8 billion, and the "missing oil" has now been found sitting on the bottom of the Gulf.  http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=129782098&sc=17&f=1001>
All that anybody has seen is $3 billion deposited.

The deal isn't on paper, and none of the money is securitized.  Do you understand what that means?

As
well, BP is extorting the US government.  Unless BP is allowed to continue risky and dangerous drilling, it claims not to be able to pay the residents of the gulf that it's harmed, or clean up anything.

11 people were murdered and there hasn't been one criminal indictment.  15 were murdered by BP in Texas, and again, no criminal indictments.

Obama has let the criminal BP continue to operate, just like he let the criminal Bush-Cheney administration go and blocks investigations and prosecutions into them all.  \Obama is not only an accomplice to their past crimes by doing that, he's now a willing participant.

We've got a problem here, people.  And it's not premature to use the 'I'-word (we should have impeached Clint0n instead of falling on our swords for him -- We got stuck cleaning up his mess, left with the bill, by being loyal to a fault to one of our own, just as we're getting stuck with the tab on Bush-Cheney because our own, the Democrats, wouldn't do all that was necessary to stop them through impeachment).
