Me, a Reagan Democrat?

No.

Reagan Democrats weren't liberals or progressives. They are today's 'mushy middle' (centrist Democrats, Blue Dogs) or they crossed-over by the time of the Gingrich Contract with American to become what they always were in their heart: Republicans. Reagan Democrats tended to be blue collar, high school educated, relying on Fox News and USA Today for their information. Yuppies they were not, nor did yuppies vote for Reagan.

Levi Johnston & Bristol Palin Shopping 'Multiple Reality Shows'

I swear I will go to every single viewer's house and rip out their cable, and possibly their lungs, if they watch this show.

The entire family of Palins, nuclear and extended, needs to crawl back to their lives of obscurity in Wasilla, before John McCain plunked them down in the limelight and forced them on us, lock the door on the town, throw away the key, and leave us in the lower 49 to get on with our lives.

I swear, I swear, I swear I will.

Financial Reform Gives Geithner Sweeping Influence

I remember that article. I remember thinking at the time that the vetting process for candidates stinks, and that we won't get good, real populist candidates unless & until there is drastic and uncompromising change to our campaign financing system. Until corporations are no longer 'persons' and are prohibited from participating in elections and politics, all efforts to reform government are useless.

Basically, Obama got to the Oval Office because he stroked a banker's ego. Obama, figuratively, gave Wolf a bl0w job.

It's got to end. Or we'll end.

Financial Reform Gives Geithner Sweeping Influence

Believe it.

Last month, the White House asked a top big-business group for their wish-list, which the group submitted to Obama's Office of Management and Budget: It's a 54-page hit list that takes aim at regulations protecting the environment, workers, consumers and investors.

Obama is not, and never was, what Democratic voters thought or hoped he was.
