Same thing happened with the telecoms years ago and gwbush suddenly made the illegal thing they were doing legal

=========================

You out yourself here as the Obama-bot I thought you were.  If it was Bush then making it legal, then it's Obama now making it legal.

Back then, as now, I wrote about the technique that Bush used to keep Congress like mushrooms (making it next to impossible for members of Congress to actually read/take notes/discuss the classified documents in a secured and guarded room on the Hill) and it seems that instead of the transparency Obama promised during his campaign for the Oval Office, he's perfected Bush's techniques of a tyrannical Executive.

There is plenty of blame to go around, as I have done plenty of if you'd read any of my writings over the years.  But the fact remains that the protocols surrounding these protocols make it easy for everyone to point the finger at everyone else.  These intelligence agencies operate within the Executive branch and because we all vote for that office, the buck is going to stop with Obama.  It's his DoJ that's going after whistleblowers.

If you had problems with Bush-Cheney doing it, you should have problems with Obama doing it.
