"I'm just frustrated and tired from repeating myself answering the same questions time and time again [from the same people]."

No one is forcing you to post here, so if you're tired of repeating yourself or "answering the same questions time and time again [by the same commenters]", you've brought it on yourself. I would like to know what your credentials are, since you seem to represent yourself as an "expert" on the political process, while attempting to influence potential voters with your provocative spin. You hide behind a handle, yet seem to insinuate that your comments are aren't 'anonymous', yet more relevant than other contributors.
How did you arrive at that conclusion?

=====================

Oh joy; my own personal tro//.

I've already told you who I am - "Not an anonymous person making claims that can't be independently verified [the links to which I invariably provide]."

In this venue, that's all you need to know.

You are in violation of HP comment-policy:

The Huffington Post promotes a receptive, transparent and civil atmosphere for comments and users. Critical, in-depth and intelligent discussions and debates are encouraged and the best of these are highlighted in various ways, such as through the Community Pundit program.  Everyone is welcome and encouraged to voice their opinion regardless of identity, politics, ideology, religion or agreement with other community members, the author of the post or staff members as long as those opinions are respectful and constructively add to the conversation. However, this community does not tolerate direct or indirect attacks, name-calling or insults, nor does it tolerate intentional attempts to derail, hijack, troll or bait others into an emotional
response.
These types of comments will be removed from the community where warranted. Individuals who consistently or intentionally post these types of comments will be warned and, if necessary, excluded from the community.

Shorter version: Discuss issues, not the commenters.

BTW, you didn't really answer my question.

================================

I can offer you my guess as to why, but only Republicans can tell you why they didn't take the offer.

My guess is that they and Obama and Democrats know (or believe) that they're going to get what they want with the 'Super Congress' come November, and won't have to suffer the nasty consequences of p!$$ing off their base (Tea Partiers) by appearing to have worked with and cooperated with Democrats.

The soul purpose of the 'Super Congress's expected draconian cuts is to provide cover to the members of Congress seeking reelection next year.

You explain things well, and hint at things even better, but remember ... he IS asking questions. You can't blame him for not asking questions when the only reason you have something to respond to is because he asked a question.

He's not the enemy here.

I'm a huge fan of yours, by the way, but think you misstepped here.

When you're right, you're right.

I'm just frustrated and tired from repeating myself answering the same questions time and time again.  I also don't mean to sound as harsh as it may have come across.

Justalurker, are you seeing this?  I apologize.

Likewise, a self-professed terrorist (of any origin) working in an organization that's actively attacking America at home for nearly two decades (from 1993 to now).

Only slightly off topic:
If we had had the opportunity to take out the two planes that crashed into the WTC on 9/11, saving 3000 innocent lives, but in the process losing 100's of others on the planes, should we have done so?  Not an easy question.  Are there laws dictating the appropriate military decision here? I doubt it.

==========================

Actually, there is a law and a protocol, and apparently it wasn't followed.  That's something else that Obama is allowing to remain hidden from American citizens.  What we know is from what was in the 9/11 Commission's report and what's been leaked of Bush's/Cheney's classified deposition before the 9/11 Commission (along with transportation secretary Norm Mineta's public testimony to the 9/11 Commission.
