I really am tried of this complaint that our President isn't emotional enough, doesn't show anger.

It was a strawman of sorts. A set-up by a member of the White House press corps as a sort of challenge to Obama, about his non-participation in a catastrophic event, an ongoing attack on the US.

In a different setting, the reporter might have asked Robert Gibbs if Obama suffered from constipation.

Nobody is suggesting that Obama express anger and shalakazaam!, it's all good. But anger as a laxative, to get Obama unstuck and moving. Because there is much that Obama can do and should be doing.

The only people that Obama is fooling are his most ardent admirers, who think he's either a populist, a liberal, "playing 3 dimensional chess", has some grand scheme to trick Republicans, OR, those who think he's a centrist and are happy with his failure to accomplish anything because they, for all intents and purposes, are conservatives themselves, libertarians, for less government. They're all breaking their backs trying to find a rationale for his anti-populist (against THEM, the People who put him into power) ways.

By the way, most voters, if you ask them their positions on the issues, agree with liberal positions. But not the word 'liberal' -- Never that word. From that, they run.

Actually, that's not true.

If you were to canvass registered Democrats, most of them would say they haven't a clue what the DLC is. Most Democrats think that Bill Clinton is a liberal. They don't know that Bill Clinton was one of the founders of the DLC, along with Joe Lieberman and Al From.

Obama can't and couldn't win without the base of the Democratic Party, 70% of whom are liberals. He has, for the most part, Bush's advisers and no liberals whatsoever. No one in his administration from the base of the Democratic Party that put him into office. 70% of the Democratic Party, unrepresented in the Obama administration.

Obama and Democrats were put into power to reverse the last 30 years of Republican privatization and deregulation. Obama and the DLC-controlled Democrats in Congress have done NOTHING in that regard. Obama has continued just about all of Bush's policies.

Was it too much to hope for, a Democratic presidential administration run with the same Swiss-clockwork precision of the BushAdministration, but for the American people's best interests, for our well being & prosperity, instead of the Corporations?

Is Obama no better than Bush & Cheney (& the Clintons), just more adept at deceiving worn-down, gullible, desperate-to-trust Americans?

We're in the 'End Times' of the United States of America.

Every branch of and department in government has broken down, & refuses to abide by & enforce the rule of law. Everyone outside of Washington sees it & says almost daily, "What the heII is Obama doing?", "What is he thinking?" Even 0bamabots. They may not be saying it aloud online, but when the reason they offer for his actions are, "He's playing 3-dimensional chess", the subtext is that they don't get it either: It's inexplicable behavior for the 2008 candidate who won promising change from the plutocratic/fascist Bush-Cheney-Republican leadership.
