Obama Can't Balance Budget With Social Spending Cuts

Ten years ago we were just broaching the subject of expanding basic universal health care coverage to include mental health and dental after shoring up Social Security and Medicare.  

Then came the coup d'etat, the stolen 2000 election and Bush's tax cuts for the rich which have now become Obama's tax cuts for the rich.  And two wars that continue under Obama, and are already the longest wars in our nation's history.

Talk began a few weeks ago in the media of a rehabilita­ted Bush family, and a Jeb Bush presidency­, if not in 2012 then in 2016.

All because the DLC-contro­lled Democratic Party turned the other cheek and got into bed with Big Business and the Republican­s.

When are We, The People, going find politician­s willing to champion the our causes and needs, and get the monied corporate special interests out of our government­?
