I was going to say that we get the government (with the failed economy) that we deserve, but that's not precisely true.   You and I, naschkatze­, and other alert thinking people get the government and economy that the frivolous American Idolers here saddle us with by their shallow worship of an entertainm­ent culture.

Why would anybody care what Hillary Clinton thinks about becoming a grandmothe­r?
