WHAT I DON'T WANT FOR CHR!STM@S: I don't want to hear chit from Robert Gibbs. Obama needs to hold a full court press conference (and none of his droning, long-winded answers so that only 5 or 6 questions with no follow-ups can get asked) to explain how he intends to accomplish what he promised voters in the 2008 campaign if they elected him to the presidency. Step-by-step. How do you get affordable , quality medical care for everyone with the healthcare legislation he shoved down everyone's throats? How do you get to repealing DADT? How do you end the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq (and Pakistan and Yemen and Somalia) and bring ALL the troops home? How do you end Bush's tax cuts in two years (as Obama wants us now to trust him, yet again, to let him kick the can down the road again another two years)? Obama's got a lot of 'splainin' to do. And I want him to 'splain it to a panel of these journalists: Amy Goodman, Laura Flanders, Matt Taibbi, Jeremy Scahill, Rachel Maddow, Thom Hartmann, Glen Greenwald, Jane Hamsher, and a few others. I used to have Ezra Klein on this list, but after last week's Lawrence O'Donnell show where it was clear that he's been getting played by the Obama administration (Larry Summers has been taking advantage of Klein's youth and trusting nature); he's useless for getting to the truth.
