Pelosi To Progressives, Pundits: Don't Blame Us For Senate's Shortcomings

When DLC-Democrats don't want something that their supporters want, they make up the most amazing excuses to try to convince their supporters that "We really would like to do that, but our hands are tied by rules."



The latest l!e has been that rule 22 can only be changed at the beginning of a new Congress. It's really outrageous the BS they tell constituents.



It can be done at any time (see page 6 - http://fpc.state.gov/documents/organization/45448.pdf ).



Come November, if Republicans take control the Senate, Obama and the DLC-controlled Democratic Party will tell supporters, "Aren't you glad we didn't end the filibuster?"



And we'll be in for yet another cycle of gridlock which benefits transnational corporations at the expense of people. They'll keep doing it, finding one way after another to deliver to their real constituents (corporations), for as long as they can.
