Pelosi To Progressives, Pundits: Don't Blame Us For Senate's Shortcomings

Obama really, really needs a chief of staff who's not part of the club.

That suggests that Obama's inept, a naive political neophyte at best, incompetent at worst.



Does that seem like the same Obama who out-strategized the most canny political operatives in the business, first within the Democratic Party to get the nomination and then in the Republican Party to win the general election?



You're absolutely right, by the way, that they had 60 days to decide, so why would they appeal in advance of an election where they claim to want to motivate the base to the polls? Voting has already begun around the country, so why would Obama intentionally anger and turn off Democratic voters?



I can tell you what's motivating Obama/Holder, but think about it, follow it out to the most logical conclusion. It's only when to those who refuse to believe that Obama's trying to move the Democratic Party even farther to the right of where it's been, get more Blue Dogs into Congress, attract more moderate Republican politicians & their supporters into the Democratic Party that it doesn't make sense.
