Gallup's Generic House Ballot: Why So Different?

Explain to me how you get from my saying, "The first step is recognizing that as long as the GOP and the DLC-controlled Democratic Party has a lock on our system, nothing is going to change and we are on a fast track spiral to crashing and burning," to interpreting that to mean I'm suggesting, "So let's just roll over and give up shall we?"



Shouldn't "The first step" have been a clue to you that there's a "second step", "a third step", etc.?
