Elisabeth Hasselbeck Joining 'Good Morning America' As A Contributor

With Democrats controlling the White House and Congress, why isn't the media hiring more personalities from the left, as they did when Bush-Cheney took office?



Why is Elisabeth Hasselbeck, known for her hardline conservative views, being legitimized & rewarded, particularly in these hard economic times with a second TV show at the network?



When Bush & Cheney got into the White House in 2001, conservatives were hired in greater numbers than liberals not only throughout government, but in media, too.



With a Democratic administration and a Democratically controlled Congress, I had been looking forward to a greater liberal presence in the media. Not just personnel, but liberal perspectives being presented, so that Americans could actually learn the ideas and points of view that have been banished since Reagan had made 'liberal' a dirty word in the 1980s.
