White House Expands On Executive Powers Once Criticized By Obama, No Doubt To The Delight Of The Base

The short answer is that it keeps the parties competitive, eager to outdo the other in service to the corporations.

Before Obama gave Big Insurance & PhRma the greatest giveaway, Bush and the GOP (and a ton of Democrats) put through the greatest giveaway to Big Insurance & PhRma with the Medicare Reform Act of 2003, 


It's going to keep going back and forth like that until real campaign finance reform happens and our elections are totally publicly financed or until Congress and the White House can't borrow any more money in our names to hand out to corporations.

The latter is going to happen before the former.  

We're doomed.
