Vanity Fair's Sarah Palin Profiler: 'The Worst Stuff Isn't Even In There'

Thursday, September 2, 2010

Which makes the reluctance of the sources for this article all the more understandable.

Remember Joe McGinnis, the author who has been renting the house next door to Sarah Palin, and the de@th threat lobbed at him by the editor of the local town newspaper?

You can't cower in silence and hope bullies like Palin go away. They don't. You have to go after them with everything you've got, and hope that the others who have been bullied are so inspired that they come forward to tell their stories.

This is a lesson we all need to learn. It's what kept Bush and Cheney able to carve away our civil rights protections in the Constitution, and what let them lie us into war. Not a day passed during the Bush administration when I wasn't saying, "What do Bush-Cheney have on this or that person (Jay Rockefeller, Paul Kanjorski, Nancy Pelosi, etc., and now Barack Obama)?"

It would be great if everyone could coordinate their actions, but that's not possible. So you have to prepare your case, and wait for the right moment, the next time that someone comes forward with a story to tell about Palin. Then go public yourself.
