Vanity Fair's Sarah Palin Profiler: 'The Worst Stuff Isn't Even In There'
Thursday, September 2, 2010
I heard the writer of the Vanity Fair article, Michael Joseph Gross, say that he spoke with many people in Wasilla and throughout Alaska who h@te Palin, have terrible things to say about her from first hand experience, but refused to be quoted for his story because they're afraid of her.
But, Gross said, that if she were to become the presidential nominee in 2012, they would come forward and speak out.
Those people need to know that now is the time to come forward. Waiting until she gets the nomination is too late. She would then have much power lined up behind her, and if you afraid of her now, you wouldn't be fighting just against her then as the GOP's nominee. The entire power behind the GOP would be invested in keeping her a credible (as much as is possible with Palin) candidate.
To not come forward now enables her and her supporters to say later, "That's old discredited news!". The GOP got away with that line about Bush and his many foibles and corruptions (drug arrests, TANG).
