I appreciate what you're saying, but this is one of those pivotal moments, a fork in the road, where Democratic voters have an opportunity to turn the tide.
The word is that House progressives, Nancy Pelosi among them, think they were betrayed and had their bumper stickers for 2012 already printed ("A vote for a Democrat is a vote to save Social Security"). Whether you believe that or not (that progressive politicians give a chit about saving Social Security or merely want the appearance of giving a chit) is another matter. But now is a time when the People can do something about it, or at the very least, learn just what the DLC-controlled Democratic Party is really for (not them).
