All of you criticizin­g Obama, why don't you tell me what he should do. He doesn't have the votes in the house and barely has a majority in the Senate. Tell me what he should do, let us default?

Aside from ultimately invoking a 14th Amendment solution, there's rarely a majority in Congress to pass anything at all until a campaign has been mounted to sell it.  But Obama never goes that route until he's caved on Democrats' positions and delivers Republican­-like legislatio­n that Republican­s only dream of getting passed.  That's when Obama goes into 'sales overdrive'­, at the 11th hour of the crisis, when "there's no other choice", "...tick, tock...".
