After the midterm, it is time for progressives to put their money where their mouth was back during the Bush years.

After the midterms?

No.

There is really only one place in our democratic republic where the people have any voice whatsoever, and that's during elections.  Even then, we have no Constitutional right to have our votes counted.

Now is all that we have.  

Sorry to sound so zen about it, but it's time to vote all incumbents out.  Particularly Democrats.  Their arrogance is breathtaking.  And then you have to get involved, personally, hands on, in the running of your government.
