We're not talking about your grandmother or your daughter or how you raised her.  We're also not talking about sounds, but NOISE.  

Not all sound is noise, but, in general, it's subjective.  The sounds of children playing can be music to some people's ears and like nails on a chalkboard to others.  It's certainly not the same as a dog continually barking or a car alarm sounding.  

If the sounds you and yours are making are disturbing others inside their homes, you're guilty of noise pollution, and noise kills.  According to the World Health Organization, excessive noise ranks second only to air pollution as a leading environmental cause of health problems among Western Europeans.  

Here's a good general measure for determining when you're too loud:  If the sounds you're making can be heard 10 feet past your property line.
