Ar!ann@ needs to call off this !nsane moderation policy at HP: Every comment I've made about this incident in the last two days (non-abusive by the way, but definitely not 'on the bandwagon' about the cause of this and solution being to bash h8 rhetoric) has been scrubbed. It certainly gives pause to spending any time posting at all at this place. Especially as so many regulars to HP (political operatives paid to disrupt and distract this 'public square') flood this site with music video links that go 'unmoderated', not scrubbed. HP doesn't seem to want legitimate discourse on the subject -- HP only wants to promote the sensationalism. The only moderation of comments seems to be of legitimate discourse and not those that actually violate comment policy.
Hundreds of comments remain "pending" on the website as a whole and then are scrubbed en masse. On this thread, 66 comments are currently pending. Why?
Why should anyone think that HP is no different than any other commercial corporate media site?
