Gun-Control Advocates Resigned To Few Changes In Wake Of Giffords Shooting

Nobody is talking about this?

Not at HP, with this !nsane moderation policy.  I've written dozens of posts on this subject since the story broke, only to have them hung up in the que of hundreds of pending comments, and then scrubbed.

It's what I (and I'm sure many others) were talking about as soon as this story broke 2 days ago.  But then the paid-off powers that be (NRA- and corporate-­bought politician­s) couldn't have gotten out in front of this story to control the response (no regulation­s of guns and no money and programs for mental health treatment)­.  

The powers-tha­t-be aren't interested in prevention if it means cutting into their profits.
