John McCain Urges Obama To Select Joe Lieberman As Next Defense Secretary

Since the midterm elections, Obama has tried to spin this as some mandate for more Republican­-like legislatio­n.  The truth is, Obama likes Republican legislatio­n.  Obama is a Republican­-in-Democr­ats'-cloth­ing:

"Privately, Obama describes himself as a Blue Dog Democrat"


Blue Dog = (might as well be registered as a) Republican

What Obama said before the midterms was exactly like what Pelosi did prior to the 2006 midterms -- She announced that if Democrats took control over Congress, impeaching Bush was "off the table".  The reason to do that is to be able to SPIN after the election, "We told you what we were going to do before the election, so our success in retaining our seats means you were voting for what we broadcast.­"
