The End Of Access

Ten years ago we were just broaching the subject of expanding basic universal health care coverage to include mental health and dental after shoring up Social Security and Medicare.  Then came the coup d'etat of 2000.  And Bush's tax cuts for the rich that have now become Obama's tax cuts for the rich.  And two wars that continue under Obama, and are already the longest wars in our nation's history.

Talk began last week in the media of a rehabilita­ted Bush family, and a Jeb Bush presidency­, if not in 2012 then in 2016.

All because the DLC-contro­lled Democratic Party turned the other cheek.
