Your description of what Obama did is classically called a "disinformation campaign".



It why (and how) those who voted for him are angry, confused, and arguing among themselves about who he is and what he stands for.



Obama's purpose was not to bring clarity to the furor and lead Americans out of the miasma of the past decade since nine-eleven, but to restoke the raw fears and ignorance that were exploited after nine-eleven to get us into wars of choice for profit by the richest.



That's not leadership.
