Obama's Jobs Agenda For Congress: Is It Realistic?

It's become almost daily practice for President Barack Obama to point out the four things he says Congress can pass now to create jobs "immediate­ly," if only lawmakers would act: infrastruc­ture investment­s, patent reform, free trade deals and a payroll tax cut extension.

Obama's pushing Republican policy and legislatio­n again with this agenda.

Extending payroll tax cuts is the path to destroying Social Security.  Cutting the payroll tax will drain Social Security coffers and threaten seniors' benefits.

Obama's patent reform overwhelmi­ngly stacks the deck in favor of corporatio­ns.

More free trade deals that outsource Americans' jobs?  Obama campaigned on fixing NAFTA, but once in office he did a 180 and crafted more of the same such trade deals.
