I'm not misrepresenting anything. The one interview you're talking about (and there were several during that time frame and many over the years) couldn't have been clearer: "The Democratic Party is a big tent, where anti-choice people are welcome."
That's as bu//chitty a poIitician's rhetoric as it comes.
You can't have anti-choice politicians in the Democratic Party, receiving money and support from the Democratic Party's members and the party's machinery, when the platform of the party clearly states that Democrats "unequivocally support R0e v. W@de and a woman's right to choose a safe and legal ab0rt!on, regardless of ability to pay, and oppose any and all efforts to weaken or undermine that right".
If you think Howard Dean doesn't believe what he's said, then provide a link to support your contention.
