David Axelrod: Americans Would Have Gotten 'Screwed' Without Tax Cut Deal (VIDEO)

We borrowed money, went into debt these past ten years so that we could give the rich money.

Me, my kids, your kids, our grandchild­ren, great-gran­dchildren, will be paying the interest only on what the rich were given these past ten years.

We borrowed from China, Saudi Arabia (who then supported Al Qaeda), and Iran (ain't that a kick in the head?), all secretly, it turns out; Iran owns us.

The rich have gotten tax exemptions and tax breaks and even tax credits and bribes, arrangemen­ts that aren't available to people like you and me (I assume that you're not one of the rich).  The rich incorporat­e, and are able to write off all of their living expenses.  They're living free, and you and I are paying their way in life.

Oh yes, let's keep doing that.
