Poll Update: Republicans Poised For Big Governor Gains

That's not likely in a midterm election, with the record that Obama and DLC-controlled Democrats have to run on. Instead of 'accomplishments' (pretty much non-existent, having nothing to do with Republican obstructionism), the Democratic machine has worked overtime to elevate the Tea Party and Sarah Palin and turn the election into one of fear ("What if the Republicans get in?").

We exchanged one party that ran on fanning voters' fears (of Osama Bin Laden) for another doing the same thing (of teabaggers).

And in the meantime, the American People are being sold out, quite literally.

Clinton: Working To Stay Healthy For His Grandchildren (VIDEO)

I'm not interested in Bill Clinton's diet or his potential grandchildren, or even his 'Global Initiative'.

The damage that Bill Clinton did to the nation at large and the Democrats in particular should have him looking for redemption by working on projects in the US.

As co-founder of the DLC and his signing onto the Republican vision of privatization and deregulation of the US, gutting civil rights & privacy protections for Americans, eliminating social safety nets for Americans (and Glass Steagle), Clinton used the office as the means to amass a private fortune (only $100 million of it is public and known about -- much more apparently exists as a result of his dealings, secret, with Ron Burkle in hedge funds) while hanging Americans out to dry.

Why isn't Bill Clinton stumping for fellow Democrat Jerry Brown in order to keep the governor's office out of the hands of Republicans?

At the very least, why hasn't the DNC gotten Bill Clinton to denounce Meg Whitman's ads using old clips of him bad mouthing Jerry Brown?

His s3xual escapades in the White House led directly to ushering Bush-Cheney into office; we never should have fallen on our swords to protect him from impeachment. We should have cut our losses, but instead we showed him the loyalty that he and the DLC have never shown Democratic voters.

Overriding all of these races and polls is 'registered voters' and 'likely voters'.

Among 'likely voters', Republicans are favored. It's only in the 'registered voters' polling that Democrats do better.

I have been writing for a long time about Obama and the DLC wanting Republicans to take Congress and prevail in statewide races, because modern politics is not about governing, but about positioning for "the next election".

The two parties have gamed the system to serve themselves and not the American People. The two parties are really like siblings in a family competing for their parents' attention (corporations, and not We The People), and k!IIing off any potential competition from other siblings that might change the odds of their controlling the game.

There is no other way to explain things like Meg Whitman using clips of Bill Clinton (from the 1992 Democratic primaries where he bad-mouths Jerry Brown) and Bill Clinton not denouncing her for it and campaigning for Brown in the state where the Clintons have raised more money than any other for their own campaigns.

For all the bullying of the base of the Democratic Party by the DLC machine (Obama, Rahm Emanuel, the Davids, Axelrod & Plouffe are real nasty pieces of work), not to mention the Elizabeth Warren appointment trickery & chicanery ("No, trust us, 'special adviser' is much better"), that's something that they could do to improve Democrats' chances across the board.

And pressuring Democrats like Dianne Feinstein off of the anti-marijuana campaign initiative would go a long way towards increasing Democrats' numbers and the turnout.

But then the Democratic machine would have to actually be real Democrats instead of Republicans-in-Democrats'-clothing.

Obama's legislation is not a matter of "good enough" -- It's entirely too far and IN THE WRONG DIRECTiON! it's a corporate bill. It's a l!e, a sham.

Voters put Obama and Democrats into power to get them affordable quality medical treatment for everyone. Voters didn't put Obama & Democrats into power to sell them a few million more insurance policies (with absolutely NO COST CONTROLS).

You have swallowed a load of BS about this legislation.

Do you know that not one Democrat is running on this legislation. Not one. Not one ad has been produced touting healthcare "reform". Obama and Democrats want and need voters to forget this legislation before the election, it is that bad for the People. What Obama and the DLC-controlled Democratic Party did was the equivalent of privatizing the Social Security trust fund (which, by the way, Obama will be setting into motion after the election).

We've got to smarten Obama's 'most ardent supporters', who are the ones least able to endure what Obama's doing. Because they're k!IIing us all with their ig.nor.ance. They are no different than Bushies.
