40% of US's wetlands are in Louisiana, and that is going to affect the climate for most of the US.
Lousiana is the second largest supplier of seafood to the nation, after Alaska.
This reckless behavior on BP's part, on the part of all industries and deregulationists, for huge profits over lives, has k!lled the goose that laid the golden egg (America and responsible capitalism, i.e., regulated capitalism).
The health impact of this catastrophe will hit more people than just those living along the gulf coast. It's going to cost both lives and the US economy very hard.
