Deepwater Horizon Inspections: MMS Skipped Monthly Inspections On Doomed Rig

After 8 years of Bush and Cheney (and after 30 years of post-Nixon, pro-Vietnam War conservatives working to get back into power), voters did not put Obama and Democrats into power to show restraint.



Using the rules and tools of government that are there and available isn't dictatorship; it's a Constitutional democracy.



Obama isn't using the tools to show restraint, by the way -- It's a nice excuse for him, but in truth he's a proponent of the status quo. All anyone has to do to know that is look at what he's doing. He knee-caps liberals, doesn't include them in his administration, is pro-corporation and goes to great lengths to move legislation to the right. In healthcare reform, the votes were there for a public option, but Obama blocked it.
