Deepwater Horizon Inspections: MMS Skipped Monthly Inspections On Doomed Rig

I appreciate your postings about this story, but what do you think calling BP is going to accomplish?



I think better that people call the White House and their representatives in Congress. Demand they use the power of their offices to deal with BP and this disaster. And to stop ALL offshore drilling, and get a Manhattan-style project going on alternative energy development. Pass legislation supporting the development of alternative and sustainable energy production, including tax incentives and subsidies.



Then call all of your local and national media outlets and tell them you want to see more coverage of this story and the other offshore rigs being operated offshore the US.



And then, make big donations to environmental organizations.
