Obama Afghanistan Speech Addresses Course For Troop Withdrawal

Rachel Maddow is misstating the facts.

Obama has sent 50,000 troops since he got into office, not 33,000.

Even after he withdraws 33,000 troops by the end of next year, there will still be DOUBLE the number of troops in Afghanista­n than when Obama first took office.  That number includes US privately contracted troops that are in Afghanista­n.
