Obama Afghanistan Speech Addresses Course For Troop Withdrawal

I guess I need to point out the obvious, as nobody else is.

All that a president can promise (and this president isn't real good about keeping promises) is what will happen within his guaranteed term in office.  That's 2012.  

WTH is Obama doing promising what will happen in 2014?

If you want to end the wars, you end them when you are guaranteed to be in charge, in power, able to deliver on the promise.  

Otherwise, it's just political BS.
