Gay Rights Activists Accuse Obama Of Silent Homophobia (VIDEO)

For all of you defending Obama's and Democrats' failure to use the tools available to them to end DADT, and are complacent about laying this at Republicans' feet (and thus doing nothing but complaining about Republicans), what is that going to accomplish?

Do you think John McCain is going to change his position?

Do you think Republicans are going to work in a bipartisan way (compromise, on anything) with Obama and Democrats if liberals complain enough?

I suspect you realize that the answer is 'no'.

So your answer then is for Obama to do nothing, that he has no options to change this policy, to influence change on this policy.

I have an idea for people like you, who think you have no stake in this issue, yet keep protecting Obama and Democrats who can make a difference:

Give up your rights until gays get their rights.

You're a woman?  You're black?  Let's pretend it's 1919, and you can't vote, you can't marry out of your race, you can't drink or eat where white people drink and eat.  

How about you voluntarily give up all of the rights you're so patient about letting gays live without?  How about you sit in the back of the bus until gays can serve  openly, protect & defend you/us and the nation?
