U.S. Postal Service Faces Bankruptcy, Plans Cuts To Slow Delivery Of First Class Mail

I hate to tell you this, pal, but this (HR 6407) was done with a Republican­-controlle­d Congress and a Republican in the White House (W Bush).  That's not to say that Democrats didn't go along, but HR 6407 was another in a long line of legislatio­n to corporatiz­e the US government and get massive pay-offs to the insurance and financial institutio­ns.
