Payroll Tax Cut Extension Rejected In Senate Vote

You'd better hope that payroll tax cuts aren't extended -- It's the path to destroying Social Security and Medicare.  That's why Bernie Sanders voted against it.

If Obama wants to give the middle class a tax break, there are any number of ways to do it without endangerin­g Social Security and Medicare.
