Only an Obama flunkie would say something like that.

Frank Caprio is no sociopath, and was the Democratic Party's endorsed candidate when he was elected General Treasurer of Rhode Island in 2006 and received 73% of the vote.   Caprio won by a larger margin than any candidate for a contested statewide office on the Rhode Island ballot that year.  It was his performanc­e in that job (minimizin­g Rhode Island's exposure in asset-back­ed securities­, and saving the state's pension fund), along with his years in the Rhode Island State House, an economics degree from Harvard (as well as a law degree), that got him the Democratic Party's nomination for governor.
