The geology of the land (and the Ogallala aquifer which is beneath the route of the pipeline) and the ecosystem that supplies the bulk of our food supplies, the science of the situation as well as the poor history of oil spills by Keystone and the effect of toxic chemicals in oil on human and animal health aren't "assumptio­ns".
