Newt Gingrich: Republicans Shouldn't Back Down From Obama In Debt Ceiling Fight (VIDEO)

I'm not even talking about SS, Medicare, Medicaid, veterans care, CHAMPUS, SCHIP, et al; I'm talking about all government programs that protect the public from the abuses of businesses out to increase profits at the expense of the People's safety.  That's government­'s role, and up until about 40 years ago, before deregulati­on and privatizat­ion, government did a pretty good job of it.  And at a good price.  Government programs are extremely efficient.
