Debt Ceiling Talks Collapse (LATEST UPDATES)

I'm curious as to how many here watched the Sunday morning shows today?

Obama's CoS (Bill Daley) made it plain that there is no chess being played; Obama is committed to cutting Social Security and Medicare and Medicaid and other programs that the poor and middle class rely on.

To keep laying this at Republican­s' feet (and I agree, they're scvm) sets SS and Medicare up for destructio­n by Obama.  Obama's not pressing for a People's budget.  He's not ending the wars, he's not ending Bush's tax cuts.  As a matter of fact, the deal that was on the table was to make Bush's tax cuts PERMANENT.

Do the Obama fans understand this?
