White House Defends Obama's Confusing Stance On Gay Marriage

The parsing, "His thoughts are evolving" is standard variety politician BS.  

As if it should even be a considerat­ion by everybody else, or even that it means his thoughts will evolve to accepting gay marriage.  "Evolving" isn't "evolved".  How long before his thoughts evolve to accept gay marriage?  As long as it took black people to get basic civil rights?   

Can you imagine JFK or LBJ sitting on civil rights instead of driving the train for them, saying, "You can't have the same rights all other Americans have because my thoughts haven't evolved to that point".

Obama = garden variety politician
