Proposed Budget Cuts To Medicaid Could Kill Jobs And Short-Change Seniors

The stimulus wasn't nearly big enough and consisted hugely of tax cuts because Obama was "working in a bipartisan manner with Republican­s".

The stimulus was big enough to get a 'taste' of an improved economy, of what pumping money into the economy by creating jobs could effect.  It just wasn't big enough to sustain the effort until there was enough momentum to keep the economy going on its own.
