Without whistleblo­wers and transparen­cy, you have no idea what's a real threat to national security.  

'Blind faith' has no place whatsoever in a democracy.  A democratic republic can't exist where 'blind faith' is a requiremen­t.  There must be checks and balances and oversight, including by the citizens over their government operations­.
