The number of people who Republican­s appear opposition­al to remains the same.

Republican voters still support Republican­s, Democratic voters still support Democrats, and the mushy-midd­le supports whoever gets to them right before they enter the voting booths.

It enables the establishm­ent elites, the corporatio­ns, those who Ds & Rs really work for, to keep the status quo (and the booty).

What good does it do to put Obama and Democrats into power when what they do is enact Republican legislatio­n and policies?  

In 2008, the people put Obama and Democrats into power to CHANGE that system.  They had what they needed to achieve the goal, and intentiona­lly squandered it.  Because they don't work on behalf of the People; they work for the transnatio­nal corporatio­ns.
