For example the New Bedford rape was committed by a handful of drunks in a back room of a bar, not by a mob of dozens in a crowd of hundreds in a public square in the middle of a city. So that example isn't relevant, nobody is saying that rape doesn't exist in America, but what happened to Logan has not and could not happen today in America. It happened in muslim Egypt because its arab islamic culture is vastly more misogynist than the western world.
