Female Foreign Correspondents' Code Of Silence, Finally Broken

We export people to Egypt to be tor-tured.  Our own military has been training Egypt's military and security forces for decades.  The same tor-ture techniques used by our military in Vietnam showed up being used in Abu Ghraib and Baghram.  Just as the Iraqis learned to use drills to tor-ture from US military, these techniques aren't the result of osmosis.  They originate somewhere.  Sadlsts are created.  

A Rumsfeld and a Cheney and a Bush aren't the results of loving and nurturing families.  They are the products of their environmen­t, and the more extreme the environmen­t and the more h8 that they spread around the world, the more retaliatio­n we're going to see.

There really is something to the idea of "being the change you want to see in the world".
