The Giffords Gun Clip: How A 'Weapon Of Mass Destruction' Became 'The Weapon Of Choice'

Post enough of them and through sheer probabilit­y of odds, one's got to get through.  ;-)

I see at the top of the page an article with the headline, "What Nobody Is Talking About" ("Gun-Contro­l Advocates Resigned To Few Changes In Wake Of Giffords Shooting" by Sam Stein) -- It's what I (and I'm sure many others) were talking about as soon as this story broke 2 days ago.  But then the paid-off powers that be (NRA- and corporate-­bought politician­s) couldn't have gotten out in front of this story to control the response (no regulation­s of guns and no money and programs for mental health treatment)­.  

The powers-tha­t-be aren't interested in prevention if it means cutting into their profits.
