Obama-GOP Tax Cut Deal Doesn't Mean Future Accords

The real question, and what Obama is trying to force Americans to swallow is this:
Was this deal, as Obama claims, the best deal We The People could hope to have gotten?
Not on your life.

OBAMA: And, as I said, there are a whole bunch of things that they [Republicans] are giving up. I mean, the truth of the matter is, from the Republican perspectiv e, the Earned Income Tax Credit, the college tuition tax credit, the Child Tax Credit -- all those things that are so important for so many families across the country -- those are things they really opposed.
