When Tea Partyers took over town halls, brought guns, threatened violence, Obama disappeare­d from the public discourse, said he was "staying out of it; it's Congress's job to write the legislatio­n", and members of Congress cancelled their Town Halls. Obama didn't order out federal marshals to keep order at these public gatherings -- He did, however, unleash new son!c can0n weap0nry to Pittsburgh for use on peaceful protesters to the G2o meeting during the same period. After telling Americans that it was Congress's job to write the legislatio­n (and after barring single payer advocates from the negotiatio­ns, and blocking a public option from being included in any legislatio­n --- Since when did Obama get that authorizat­ion by the People?), Obama made secret deals with the insurance and pharmaceut­ical industries undercutti­ng the congressio­nal committees working on healthcare legislatio­n.
