Democrats Call GOP's Bluff With Vote To Extend Middle Class Tax Cuts

Republicans have been framing the expiration of Bush's tax cuts as a tax increase.

Tax cuts do NOT increase the national debt, and that's just what Bush's tax "cuts" did (and "cuts" should always have quotes around them, either actual or air quotes when talking about them, to suggest they were always phony).

Bush's tax "cuts" were all borrowed and spent.  All gone, and they did nothing to stimulate our economy.

By ending Bush's tax "cuts", Democrats are stopping the flow of red ink.
